Not many recent celebrity relationships have been as drama-filled as Rihanna and Chris Brown’s was — there were more than a few breakups and makeups and bumps along the way. But now that the star-studded couple is broken up, a source close to RiRi tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively that the single life has been a breath of fresh air.
Rihanna ‘Doesn’t Miss The Drama’
“She doesn’t miss him,” the source says. “She doesn’t miss the drama. Nobody has time for that.”
Rihanna and Chris’ ups and downs were hard to keep up with for us — we can’t even imagine how it felt for them!
Back when they were together, Rihanna struggled to juggle her relationship with her “Diamonds” world tour. She was constantly upset that Chris wasn’t making more of an effort to join her on the road, and he was hurt that she couldn’t make more of an effort because she was on the road.
Now that Rihanna only has to think about herself, the source says that life for the singer has been easy and breezy (no pun intended).
Rihanna: Still Dissing Chris Brown Online?
But this is Rihanna we’re talking about here, obviously she still has to have some drama in her life. Even though she’s not missing the drama of her relationship with Chris, she still seems to be calling him out on social media!
On July 23, RiRi posted a picture on her Instagram with the message, “I hate when ex's say…'I’m here if you need me.' Where the f**k were you when we were together and I needed you?”
That’s a pretty harsh statement (and it’s not even her first), and since Chris is her most recent ex, it seems pretty obvious that she’s referring to him.
But a little Twitter drama is nothing compared to the stuff RiRi was dealing with when she and Chris were actually together, and it’s good to hear that she’s adjusting to the single life well.
