Beyonce loves to have her curly hair blow while she’s performing on stage, but now her new motto may be, “short hair, don’t care!” Celebrity stylist Tommy Buckett is sharing his hair wisdom on how Beyonce should care for her new cut!
Beyonce’s Short Hair — How To Style A Pixie Cut
Maybe that whole, hair getting caught in a fan incident, prompted her to cut her hair! Either way, we totally love it!
Tommy, a hairstylist for Garnier Fructis, sees celebrities all the time at the Serge Normant Salon in New York City. Here is some expert advice on how to care for your hair, whether it’s short like Beyonce or long like Selena Gomez!
Since Beyonce’s dark roots are peeking out, Tommy explains that color-treated hair needs to stay hydrated:
Color-treated curly hair needs extra conditioning. A weekly conditioning treatment like Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition 3-Minute Undo Dryness Reversal Treatment quickly reverses dryness and adds lots of nourishment. Hydrated hair holds on to color longer and always looks healthier.
Again, whether your hair is long or short, it’s important to prevent breakage and split ends:
Invest in a silk pillow or wrap your hair in a silk scarf before going to bed. Silk is very gentle on the hair cuticle and won't roughen hair fibers. You'll wake up with great-looking hair every time.
Thanks for the tips, Tommy!
