After Beyonce shocked the world by ditching her trademark tresses for an edgy pixie cut, celebrities and fans alike took to Twitter to rave about Bey’s new ‘do.
The Twitterverse was buzzing over Queen B’s hot new haircut on Aug. 8, with stars like Wiz Khalifa and Katie Couric tweeting about how much they love Beyonce‘s new look.

Beyonce’s Haircut – Wiz Khalifa, Katie Couric & More Show Love For Short Hair
Beyonce, 31, unveiled a drastic new hairdo on August 7, stunning fans with a series of photos on Instagram. While some people were probably rendered speechless, Wiz was one of the first celebrities to weigh in.
“Oh and i like Beyonce’s hair,” Wiz tweeted. No surprise there — Wiz is married to the famously bald blonde Amber Rose, so he clearly loves a lady who’s not afraid of a short ‘do!
Talk show host Katie also tweeted about Bey’s pixie cut, lamenting that the style didn’t quite work for her when she tried it.
“Love Beyonce’s new do! Wish I could pull that off. I’ve tried…and failed!” she said, linking to a pic of Beyonce’s pixie juxtaposed with an old pic of a cropped-haired Katie.
Katie doesn’t look bad, but we have to admit — nobody does it quite like B!

We have to agree with @ginad129 — we’ve never seen Beyonce look anything less than flawless — and now is no exception!
Oh, and we have to mention one of the funniest responses circulating around Twitter: a screenshot from Gotye‘s video for “Somebody That I Used to Know,” with the lyrics “But you didn’t have to cut me off” — as said by Beyonce’s hair!
Beyonce’s Short Hair Revealed In Instagram Pic
To show off her new look, Queen Bey posted photos of herself gazing in a mirror and feeling the back of her head where her long hair used to be.
While we absolutely love the new ‘do, we were completely shocked because Beyonce has been a diehard weave-wearer for years! Since she blasted onto the music scene with Destiny’s Child, Beyonce has rarely sported anything other than big, bouffant looks.
But Beyonce’s fans on Twitter prove that Bey can clearly hair-do no wrong!
