Could we have a royal actor on our hands? Prince George may not even be three weeks old yet, but he has already been offered a cameo role in a British soap opera!

Prince George is already a star all over the world AND in his home country, but the United Kingdom wants to make him famous in one more way. Britain’s longest-running soap opera, Coronation Street, wants him to be one of the stars — along with his mom and dad!

Prince George On ‘Coronation Street’ — Royal Baby Offered Role On British Soap

Coronation Street has been running in Britain since 1960, so just like the royal family, there is definitely some history and tradition in the show. No wonder they want the prince to play a role!

The show’s Creative Director, John Whiston, told The Daily Star that he was hoping George, Kate Middleton and Prince William would make an appearance in an episode, cutting a ribbon to open a new road in the show’s set.

It would be fantastic to get Kate, William and George there with a pair of tiny baby scissors.

Aren’t youngsters not supposed to play with scissors? Maybe since George is royal he’s already able to use scissors at just over two weeks old — after all, he’ll probably be doing quite a bit of ribbon cutting in his royal life!

Although the desired royal cameo may seem somewhat random, John said the show has had ties to the family for a long time.

The soap has a long historical connection with the Royal Family. So having the newest arrival on the set would be perfect.

Prince Charles made a cameo appearance in the show as part of their 40th anniversary celebrations back in 2000.

Kate Middleton & Prince William Hope To Keep Prince George Out of The Spotlight

As much as we’d love to see little George break into the acting scene, his parents might not want that to happen. Despite his royal title, Kate and William want to do the best they can to raise him as normally as possible.

"William wants to raise George out of the spotlight as much as possible and give him a somewhat normal childhood," an insider told Us Weekly.

A little cameo wouldn’t hurt though, would it, Kate and William? A lot of babies start out their lives as baby actors and models — it’d be great to have a royal one!

Would YOU like to see Prince George make a cameo on the British soap opera, HollyMoms? What would you think if he starting acting gigs so young?
