On August 8, The Frozen Ground star debuted her new look on Instagram. Vanessa Hudgens, 24, reveals her new blonde hair and it’s a totally different look for her! We love hair transformations, but this may just be our favorite — what a great new hair look!

Sure, celebs change their hairstyles all the time — hello! Beyonce! — but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t surprise us when they do! This was a special surprise for all us Vanessa fans out there. Known for her long, dark hair, Vanessa gives her hair a dose of blonde — a very big dose!
With ombre, it’s natural to go from dark, to a little bit lighter. But with Vanessa, she takes it up ten notches! Leaving only the very top of her head dark, Vanessa dyed her signature tresses blonde! But she kept her gorgeous waves.
With such a dramatic new look, Vanessa had to prepare her fans on Instagram, and prepare us she did!
“Before: #allnatural. But not. For. Long!!! Someone’s goin blonde again,” she wrote.
It may not be her all-natural look, but she’s definitely working the blonde hair! It’ll take some getting used to, but we can definitely say that Vanessa is not one to shy away from making bold beauty choices. Good for you, Vanessa!
