Although Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson‘s most recent split happened after the last Twilight installment finished filming, a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that the cast is planning a Thanksgiving reunion party and the breakup is making things really uncomfortable! Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart Break Up Makes Upcoming ‘Twilight’ Cast Party ‘Awkward’
“There is a Twilight barbecue and get-together a few of the cast members are trying to plan on a weekend near Thanksgiving — when things aren’t too crazy on everyone’s schedule,” the source reveals. “But everyone feels awkward, because they of course want to invite Rob and Kristen, but no one knows if they will be okay to go to the same function together. It’s really awkward.”
We can understand the concern, but it seems like things are starting to turn around for R-Patz and K-Stew. Their recent meet-up went really well, and Rob promised Kristen that he wouldn’t date any of her friends — including Kristen’s former pal and Runaways co-star Riley Keough.
It sounds like Rob and Kristen are figuring out a way to be friends after all the heartache they’ve endured, so hopefully they will be more amicable by the time the barbecue takes place — otherwise, that’s going to be a very uncomfortable party!

"Stephenie Meyer has reached out to both Rob and K-Stew to make sure they're good after the breakup," a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. "She's kind of like a big sister to them and they love her, so she's been a perfect person to talk with."
The Twilight cast was a tight-knit bunch, and they obviously want to keep in touch with both Rob and Kristen. We hope the former couple can set aside their differences to reunite with their Twilight pals — and based on Rob and Kristen’s recent talk, we think they could make it through the party. Who knows — maybe they would even welcome the chance to spend some time together!
