Taylor Swift, 23, and Selena Gomez, 21, are super close, so it makes sense that Taylor would be concerned about Selena getting back together with her on-again, off-again boyfriend Justin Bieber. Although Taylor doesn’t want Selena to be with Justin, a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that she’s biting her tongue to preserve her friendship with Selena.
Taylor Swift Won’t Bad Mouth Justin Bieber Anymore
“She’s not saying anything to Selena at the moment about Justin,” the source reveals. “Taylor knows that Selena knows how she feels, so it’s not worth wasting her breath.”
The source adds, “She still thinks he’s [not right for Selena], but it’s not her place to alienate a friend.”
Taylor Swift Is Avoiding Justin Bieber
Just because Selena may be reconciling with Justin, that doesn’t mean Taylor has to hang out with him! Another source close to Taylor tells us that she contemplated flying into Los Angeles for Selena’s 21st birthday party, but decided against it to avoid running into Justin.
“Taylor was talking about how she'll be on a super tight schedule on Saturday night because she has a show and she wants to get to Selena's birthday party,” the source explains. “She was talking about flying out right after her show. She's not going to want to be there if Justin is there, it's so awkward between them now.”
