Becky G’s Colorful Graffiti Nails: Get Her Look On Mani Monday
Since it was Becky’s first time at the MTV VMAs, she wanted a manicure that would really stand out — and her colorful look was definitely a standout style!
The 16-year-old COVERGIRL was inspired by the award show’s Brooklyn location for her graffiti-styled digits! Each trendy almond-shaped nail is painted in its own funky style — and each mini work of art is a total masterpiece. Even though Becky’s nails are truly one of a kind, you can recreate your own version with a little help from her COVERGIRL nail team!
For Becky’s nail art, COVERGIRL Outlast Stay Brilliant Nail Gloss in Snow Storm was applied as the base, on each of her nails. This neutral color provides an even base to start your nail art on, and all of your top coat colors show up brighter against the vivid white.
All of the decorative embellishments were painted with the bright COVERGIRL Outlast Stay Brilliant Glosstini colors Bahama Mama, Lemon Drop, Sangria, and Blue Hawaiian.
To get Becky’s unique graffiti design, nail artists tapped a sponge on the nails while they were still wet to mix and blend the colors. The overall effect was very reminiscent of the colorfully tagged Brooklyn buildings — so goal achieved!
What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Do you love Becky’s graffiti nails?
