Oh no! Jessica often looks amazing when she gets glam, but unfortunately that clearly wasn’t the case on this occasion. What did you think of her, um, interesting VMAs fashion choice? VOTE.
I understand why Jessica Biel would have opted for a more understated look when her hubby was the center of attention at the MTV Video Music Awards at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY on Aug. 25, but instead she was the main focal point — and it was for all the wrong reasons. What was she thinking?
Jessica Biel’s VMAs Dress — Afterparty Style:
Honestly, what is Jessica Biel wearing? I never thought I would hear anyone say this, but we all could have done without seeing this much of Mrs. Timberlake. From the seriously sheer fabric to the billowing sleeves and the unflattering way the fabric clings to her figure, this whole get-up is such a mess.
The 31-year-old star wore her hair back, keeping the focus on the frock, and in this situation I really wish that wasn’t the case. She paired the dress with a Fendi handbag and statement earrings — although neither really helped in this case.
I don’t mean to be harsh. After all, Jessica is a gorgeous girl with a fantastic figure who usually dresses great on the red carpet — but that’s why I can’t find a single nice thing to say about this look. Ugh, I just expected so much more. Let’s just take a moment and remember when she really brought sexy back on the red carpet — now that’s the Jessica I wish we saw on VMAs night!
I get it, the night wasn’t about Jessica — but I still think she could have put a much more fashionable foot forward. After all, Justin has been dressing so dapper lately.
While I think her and Justin make a cute couple, her fashion flop does have longing for the days when the former NSYNC member used to coordinate his look with his ex, Britney Spears. (Denim on denim, anyone?).
All this look says to me is: “Who cares what I wear, I’m Mrs. Timberlake, biatch.” Granted while it’s true, I still expect more of an effort! I would have expected this get-up on Lady Gaga, not on Jessica Biel — but what do you think? Am I totally overreacting to Jessica’s sheer situation or do you think she could have looked better? VOTE.
