Kelly Clarkson may not have attended the MTV Video Music Awards on Aug. 25, but she found enough time to watch a couple of performances, two of which she wasn’t too thrilled about.
Kelly Clarkson Disses Miley Cyrus & Lady Gaga — Pitchy Strippers At VMAs
“Just saw a couple performances from the VMA’s last night. 2 words…. #pitchystrippers,” Kelly tweeted on Aug. 26.
While many performers stripped off pieces of clothing during the ceremony, held at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, we can assume the “People Like Us” singer is referencing Lady Gaga and Miley Cyrus, who both performed near the start of the show and are receiving a bit of negative backlash for their raunchy performances.
Miley Cyrus & Lady Gaga’s Racy Performances
Between Miley’s nude two-piece outfit, her twerking all over Robin Thicke, and all the weird things she did with a foam finger, the "We Can't Stop" performance was one of the craziest things we've ever seen.
Lady Gaga’s performance was a bit more tame, but she did eventually strip down to a seashell bikini and thong. She even left the outfit on while she sat in the audience for the remainder of the ceremony!
