April 1 was prom night on ‘Dancing with the Stars’, and there was romance, punch and dancing of course! Once again, Jacoby, Kellie Picker and Zendaya stole the show.
Kellie Pickler was truly the “Queen of the prom” in this week’s episode of Dancing With the Stars, and Jacoby Jones was the prom King! It was battle of the hunks between Sean Lowe and shirtless Jacoby, while Kellie got “Footloose” and knocked Zendaya off the top spot, Victor Ortiz stepped up his game significantly, and Wynonna Judd failed to rock out to a Deaf Leopard song. Who will suffer heartache at the prom?
‘Dancing With The Stars’: The Scores
Aly Raisman & Mark Ballas: (23/30) Their waltz was so pretty! Cupid’s arrow totally hit the spot. And the judges loved it! Carrie Ann Inaba told Aly her dancing was “refined”, but she lost character. Overall it was great!
Andy Dick & Sharma Burgess: (18/30) This was an interesting Cha Cha! Andy has realized that he is not the best dancer ever, but he puts in so much effort and he uses his comedic abilities. He ripped off his shirt and the judges said that apart from his timing, he did pretty well.
Ingo Rademacher & Kym Johnson: (21/30) Ingo’s Paso Doble was fiery hot! Dancing to Queen‘s “Another One Bites The Dust,” Ingo proved that he won’t be eating the dust any time soon.
Lisa Vanderpump & Gleb Savchenko: (21/30) Lisa was the princess of the prom! Wearing a pink sparkly dress, Lisa performed a stunning waltz with Gleb, but it was a little stiff in places. All the Real Housewives and Giggy the dog were there to watch Lisa, and let’s not forget Gleb’s topless moment!
Kellie Pickler & Derek Hough: (25/30) “Sharper than a samuri sword” was Kellie’s performance according to Bruno Tonioli! Dancing a jive to “Footloose”, Kellie and Derek stunned the audience with their fast and fun performance. Kellie is dancing her way to the final!
Victor Ortiz & Lindsay Arnold: (23/30) Victor’s best dance yet! He totally killed it! The judges were shocked by his cute and romantic contemporary prom dance, and he stunned with his lifts. I doubt he will be in bottom two this week.
D.L Hughley & Cheryl Burke: (16/30) D.L.’s salsa was not sexy. Sorry D.L. but you were dad dancing! Len Goodman told him it was “untidy as a teenager’s bedroom,” while Bruno said he needed a hip replacement. I think D.L. might be going home this week…
Jacoby Jones & Karina Smirnoff: (24/30) It’s rumba time for Jacoby! I had goosebumps as Jacoby and Karina danced to “Stay” by Rihanna. Jacoby ditched his usual goofy jock act, and he was sexy and subtle while dancing to the emotional song. Jacoby is taking the competition way more seriously — there was certainly no squirrel dancing this week!
Wynonna Judd & Tony Dovolani: (15/30) Oh no. Len told Wynonna she was like Mount Rushmore because “she looked good but she doesn’t move.” Yikes. Wynonna’s performance was seriously lackluster, as she barely moved while dressed like a rocky stripper.
Sean Lowe & Peta Murgatroyd: (21/30) Sean and Peta did the YMCA, and they really brought the fun tonight! Dressed as a sexy construction worker and a sexy Native American, Sean and Peta thrilled the audience, but Sean said he definitely won’t be doing that dance at his wedding. Oh Sean!
Zendaya & Val Chmerkovskiy: (24/30) Zendaya is the most beautiful dancer. Dancing to a Viennese waltz to “Que Sera Sera” Zendaya seemed crushed when she stumbled at the end, but she was still amazing. I can’t believe she is only 16-years-old! Every week she is just so wonderful.
