Jenelle and Gary get into a physical fight with each other, days after getting engaged on the April 1 episode of ‘Teen Mom 2.’ Plus, Leah marries Jeremy and Kailyn tries to take after Britney Spears.
In the two-part episode of Teen Mom 2 on April 1, Chelsea Houska, Jenelle Evans, Kailyn Lowry and Leah Messer go through major life experiences, including an engagement, a wedding, a jail stint, and a sob fest. Can you guess who experienced each?
Chelsea Houska Finds Out The Truth Behind Adam’s ‘Legal’ Letter
Chelsea is upset over the fact that Adam plans on bringing Aubree back to her house with his new girlfriend, Taylor. She says she wants Aubree home as soon as possible, and Adam says that soon she won’t have a choice regarding when she wants to see their daughter.
Upon her return, Chelsea asks Aubree if she was naughty when she was with Adam. She says “yes,” and Chelsea gives her friend a high five.
After a while, Chelsea starts to get worried about Adam’s potential custody agreement threat, so she heads over to Papa Randalicious’s house. She says he always makes her feel better. Chelsea tells her dad that she hates her life because Adam dropped Aubree off with his girlfriend. She cries a lot and says she doesn’t know what it feels like to be happy.
Chelsea sees a lawyer and finds out that Adam’s letter means nothing, legally. She’s going to pretend like it never existed. Unfortunately, she can’t do that because Adam is pressuring her to sign the letter.
Kailyn Lowry & Javi Marroquin Almost Get Married In Las Vegas
Kailyn and Javi have patched things up since she clobbered him in the face last week. He’s considering entering the military. Javi basically asks Kailyn if she’d want to get married, so that she can be helped when/and if he gets admitted into the Air Force. They decide to see if Javi can pass his entrance exam before making any big life decisions.
Javi’s test gets postponed a week, so their plans for Las Vegas won’t include a wedding. However, Kailyn’s feelings soon change and she reconsiders a Vegas wedding.
After landing in Las Vegas, during a lunchdate with her friend Toni, Kailyn boasts that Britney Spears got married in Vegas, so she may have to as well. Toni suggests checking out Little White Chapel, the same spot that Britney married Jason Alexander (you know — the marriage that lasted 55 hours).
After some though, Kailyn and Javi agree to wait to get married. They don’t want to rush anything and make it a silly wedding.
Jenelle Evans & Gary Head Get Engaged, But Then Land In Jail
Gary heads to his military base camp and Jenelle contemplates whether she’s ready for marriage or not. Gary returns back to Jenelle’s and asks if they can talk in private. He brings up their trust issues and they exchange “I love yous.” Gary proposes to Jenelle while she’s laying in bed. She says yes. Her ring is “simple and to the point,” according to Jenelle. She then asks Gary if they’re going to be happy together. (I only wish she would have had the answer to that before saying yes to his proposal.)
Jenelle calls her mom Barbara and tells her the big news! Barbara immediately says that they’re always “fighting” and it’s “terrible.” Jenelle agrees and say that hopefully they won’t fight in the future. When she describes the proposal to her mom, she says “he should have planned it out better — it was nothing special. I guess he was too eager.” Barbara says, “Ah, well you know. That’s romantic.”
Barbara must be some sort of psychic because soon after their engagement, Jenelle and Gary get into a heated fight. He kicked in the front door after Jenelle locked him out. Jenelle still “feels a future” with him, though.
Gary returns home and apologizes to Jenelle with a new puppy. Unfortunately, later that night, “everything spun out of control” and Jenelle and Gary got into a physical fight, which landed them both in the jail. A judge placed a no contact order on the both of them and Barbara bails Jenelle out of jail. They head back to her place, so they can remove all of Gary’s belongings.
Jenelle explains to her friend Tori that Gary strangled her with a blanket and wailed on her. She explains that she was left with bruises all over her body. Due to her depression, Jenelle reaches out to Kieffer, who then comes over to comfort her.
Leah Messer Gets Married & Demands More Child Support
Leah breaks the news to her mom that she’ll be marrying Jeremy sooner rather than later so that they can apply for a home loan together. Leah also calls Corey and tells him she’s going to marry Jeremy “tomorrow.” His response? “Damn girl!” Their conversation turns into a fight about how “immature” Corey is. Leah ends the argument by hanging up on Corey. She’s right — Corey’s so immature.
On the way to the chapel, Leah reads a text conversation with Corey to Jeremy. Jeremy sees a red flag when she says she asked Corey if he was mad at her. Jeremy questions Leah, “why would you care if he was mad at you?”
Afterwards, Jeremy starts laughing because he realizes his wedding photos will look like he married a teenager due to Leah’s braces. Leah and Jeremy go to Littman Jewelers to pick out their wedding bands. They make their way to the little chapel and exchange vows. In turn, Leah and Jeremy get the loan on their house and move in.
Because of her high mortgage, Leah requests more child support from Corey — he already pays $500 a month. After a court hearing, Corey is ordered to pay Leah $800 a month. He gets angry because Leah verbally agreed to a $100 increase a month, but she “suckered me in” and “screwed me without lube,” Corey tells his dad.
