Chris Siegfried doesn’t only have amazing taste in women, but apparently he knows a thing or two about diamonds as well. Desiree Hartsock, along with the rest of us, was stunned by the gorgeous Neil Lane ring Chris proposed with on The Bachelorette finale on August 5!

When Chris sat down with designer Niel Lane, he had plenty of options for his soon-to-be fiancée. However, he and Niel decided on a 3.5 carat diamond that was completely gorgeous.
As if Des, 27, didn’t shine enough on her own — did you see how gorgeous her makeup and Randi Rahm dress looked when meeting with Chris for the final rose ceremony? — she also complimented the look with a huge, sparkling diamond.
“The center diamond is about 1.25 to 1.5 carats, and the whole ring as a total is 3.5 karats,” Abraham Janet of L&L Jewlery told HollywoodLife.com exclusively. ”The stone is a VS stone — very slightly included. The halo is a cushion design with a twist down the shank. The ring is vintage style, old world. It is very conservative and simplistic, but also very popular — it is not over the top.”
When Des and Chris, 27, made an appearance on Live with Kelly & Michael on Aug. 6, they were all ready to show off the ring!
“Let me see the ring!” guest-host Erin Andrews immediately asked Des when they arrived.
So, when will the couple tie the knot? Well, they mentioned on Live! that they would like to make it official next summer in an intimate ceremony. Let’s just hope it’s on TV so we can all see!

After the heartbreaking departure of Brooks Forester, we were unsure of the choice that Des had to make. But ex-contestant Ryan Sutter as well as huge Bachelorette fan, Whitney Port both were hoping for Chris!
“Chris is my favorite this season. I think he is in it for the long-haul,” Ryan exclusively told HollywoodLife.com in an interview! It seemed Whitney agreed! “I am rooting for Chris,” she told us.
