President George W. Bush Undergoes Heart Surgery
The procedure was performed in his hometown of Dallas, Tx., at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital. The former president’s office released a statement:
President Bush is in high spirits, eager to return home tomorrow and resume his normal schedule on Thursday. He is grateful to the skilled medical professionals who have cared for him. He thanks his family, friends, and fellow citizens for their prayers and well wishes. And he encourages us all to get our regular check-ups.
George is at home resting with his family and he will reportedly “resume his normal schedule on Thursday.”
We bet his wife Laura Bush is playing the role of the doting nurse right now to help her husband recover, including his two daughters Lauren and Jenna.
George H.W. Bush Shaves His Head — Supporting Toddler Battling Cancer
George’s father, George H.W. Bush, who has had his own health problems, 89, shaved his head to support a 2-year-old boy named Patrick who was just diagnosed with leukemia.
Patrick is the son of someone on George’s security detail. Actually, every member of the security team has shaved their heads to support him.
This family is so strong and such great role models. Our thoughts and prayers are with George W. Bush at this time and we wish him a speedy recovery!
