“Rob initially reached out to Kristen because he wanted to stop by and pick up the rest of his stuff, but apparently he also wanted to see her,” a friend of Kristen’s tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.
“He stopped by on the weekend and they both spent some time together, catching up. Kristen was really happy to see him, but I think in the end they were both sad because they still have feelings for each other. It’s not as simple as just getting back together. Seeing each other brought up a lot stuff for both of them. For now, work — not rebuilding a relationship — comes first. It’s sad,” our source continues.
Robert Pattinson: Kristen Stewart & Riley Keough Have Awkward Run-In
Just days before Rob stopped by Kristen’s home, as reported by X17 Online, the Twilight beauty had an awkward encounter with Riley Keough, Rob’s most recent fling, at a Joan Jett concert held at the House of Blues in West Hollywood on August 1.
"It was weird when they saw each other, because Kristen didn't look very happy when she walked over to give her a hug," an eyewitness told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. "Can we say awkward and tense?"
"They spoke for like two minutes and then Riley and her girlfriend walked away. Kristen watched the show from upstairs and I am pretty sure Riley kept her distance and was watching from downstairs,” said the insider.
