A source close to the “Love More” singer tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively:
It’s not true. Chris can’t be killed. He won’t be defeated. The media is strong, but he isn’t about to let them ruin him. He was built to last. It’s a rough patch for him and like all great [men], he’ll get through it.
We’re certainly happy that Chris will get through this. We can’t imagine a world without the man who helped make wedding entrance dances a must.
Chris Brown’s Shocking Statement
Here’s Chris’ entire statement, which was divided into two separate tweets:
Don’t worry mainstream America. After this X album, it’ll probably be my last album. … Being famous is amazing when it’s for ur music and talent. I’m tired of being famous for a mistake I made when i was 18. I’m cool & over it!
This announcement is completely shocking, especially since Chris is loved and adored by millions of fans.
Chris Brown’s ‘Mistake’
The “mistake” Chris is referring to in his tweets is his assault on then-girlfriend Rihanna on Feb. 8, 2009, a decision that nearly cost him his career.
He later released an apology video – ”Words cannot begin to express how sorry and saddened I am over what transpired,” he said — but while fans have forgiven him, the world has not forgotten. And Chris appears to be frustrated with that.
