Let’s just leave all the creativity to Kanye West, shall we! When Kim Kardashian gave birth to their baby girl on June 15, she named the baby North West and now, HollywoodLife.com has learned that the name was solely Kanye’s idea.
Kanye West Named North West — Had Sole Decision In Baby Name
Kanye wanted it his way and when it came to picking out a name for he and Kim’s first child together, a source told HollywoodLife.com that it was “completely Kanye’s idea and choice to name his daughter North.”
Kanye West Wanted To Name Baby ‘North’ No Matter The Sex
As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, Kanye is known for his clever rhymes and his love for the arts, so it's really not a surprise he wanted to use his creativity and give his daughter a one-of-a-kind name! A source close to the rapper told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY:
“It's what Kanye wanted to name his child, no matter if it was a boy or a girl. Kim thought it was an interesting name too, and they went with it. They didn't want their child to have a name everybody else already has; they wanted something creative and fun, and North it is!”
And while it’s known Kanye thinks extremely highly of himself, as he should, that’s nothing compared to what he feels about North.
“Kanye doesn't think he's a star, but he thinks his little girl is — and her name, North, points in that direction."
