Lily Collins attended a Seventeen magazine signing event, where she met and greeted fans at Barnes & Noble Union Square in New York City on August 6. The 24-year-old Mortal Instruments: City Of Bones star rocked a grungy and very revealing outfit made up of all black and leather. Do you think this look is too heavy for summer?

Recently, Lily has been loving the crop tops! Just last week she wore another crop top to the Q&A session for her new film, The Mortal Instruments: City Of Bones in Chicago. This time, at Barnes & Noble, Lily opted to wear a very dark look — a super cropped black tank top and a black pleated leather skirt that fell below her knees. She opted for a pop of color with her killer heels — camouflage Christian Louboutin closed toe pumps! She added a big black leather clutch and tied her hair back in a low pony tail, while slicking her hair to the side.
Lily’s Very Heavy Summer Look
We love that Lily is tuning into crop tops (they’re our fave!), but we feel that this look is just too much for summer. We would have liked to see more color or maybe not such a heavy leather skirt. A floral skirt or even a solid colored skirt would have done the trick, but we must say — regardless of what she wore — Lily has a killer body!
