Nick Jonas is no stranger to dating beautiful women, and now he may be dating the most beautiful woman in the UNIVERSE: Olivia Culpo! An eyewitness says the couple looked “really happy” together on their date, but apparently they’re not official — yet — a source close to the couple tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.
Olivia Culpo & Nick Jonas Dating? — Are The Rumors True?
Sparks flew when Nick, 20, and Olivia, 21, met backstage at the 2013 Miss USA pageant in Las Vegas on June 16. Nick was a performer and co-presenter at the contest, and Olivia was there to announce the Miss USA contestant. It seemed like the stars aligned to bring these two young hotties together, but our source tells us, “They are not officially dating — not at all.”
“I’d be surprised if this worked out,” the source adds. “I just don’t see it working out — she just turned 21! She’s had nice dinners with other celebs, and the celeb thing just never works out.”
Before arriving for their date at Ovest Pizzotecha, Nick and Olivia were spotted leaving his apartment together.
“They were holding hands and there were fans standing outside,” a source tells E! News. “As soon as they saw the fans, they stopped holding hands.”
It sounds like Nick and Olivia really aren’t ready to commit, but there still could be something there.
Miss Universe: 'I'm Still Just Olivia!'
Olivia has reportedly been pursued by Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane, Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte and other celebs since receiving her title, but she wants her suitors to know she’s more than just a pretty face.
Olivia opened up about her dating struggles to HollywoodLife.com back in May:
I think that when people see me they don’t see Miss Universe at first, and then there’s always that awkward moment when they find out, and you have to think, ‘This is a little uncomfortable.’ I don’t know if they like me or they just think it’s cool so they can tell their friends that they're talking to Miss Universe. But to me I'm still just Olivia, which I'm going to continue thinking that, instead of the title!
Well, the good thing about going out with Nick is that he already has his own claim to fame, so if he really does like Olivia, at least she’ll know it’s for the right reasons!
