On May 6, Carly teased us on twitter, saying: “At the Salon- doing something drastic :)” Then on May 7, she posted a photo of her new red hairdo, saying: “I’ve always wanted to go red!” What do you think of her drastic makeover?
Carly Rae Jepsen’s Red Hair — New Dye Job
In the photo, Carly Rae looks super sweet and innocent in a white and pink dress. She’s posing with her right leg up, showing off her cute, tan, lace-up booties. She’s rocking a sweet cat eyeliner. Her eyes look open and bright. To get her awake look, dab a sparkly, white eyeshadow into the inner corners of eyes at the end of doing your eye makeup.
She’s wearing a pretty pink gloss on her lips and her skin looks clear and healthy. But we’re totally focused on her hair! With eyelash-grazing bangs, her new red hair looks amazing!
Carly Rae spoke to Cosmopolitan for their January 2013 issue about looking like a teenager!
“If people think I look younger, then that’s great; I’m stoked. But I turned 27 in November, and when I look in the mirror, I see all the years attached to that face, and I’m content with me.”
