The 21-year-old single mom to daughter Sophia, 4, revealed in a new interview the shocking reason why she filmed the private footage.
Farrah Abraham: I Filmed Sex Tape For Self Esteem
Farrah opened up in an interview with Entertainment Tonight‘s Brooke Anderson the shocking reason why she filmed the porn.
"A lot of my girlfriends who are back home … have done personal sexy shots, sexual videos … feminine things showing their sexuality and being happy for themselves," she said. "Here I am the same age or younger as most of my friends, and I'm like 'why am I not [as] happy with myself as they are? Why am I not doing this for me?”
Farrah Abraham Encouraged To Hire A ‘Professional’
When Farrah expressed her interest in filming some racy footage, a friend of hers suggested she “hire a professional” — which is how she came across award-winning porn star James Deen. She said she even paid him for his work in the movie, but he wasn’t cut a deal from Vivid like she was.
It was actually James’ loud mouth that led to the tape getting leaked — and Farrah signing the deal.
"What ended up happening was James Deen, who is in my video…thought it was ok …[to say to] the public 'I did something with Farrah' but he did it in his own way of saying 'I made a porn with her' … [and] made it his own thing and that's why I was like, 'Let me be one step ahead and let me gain control of my own video again,” she said in the interview.
