So sad. Lee Thompson Young, who starred as the lead in the Disney Channel series ‘The Famous Jett Jackson’ died from an alleged self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Lee Thompson Young’s body was reportedly discovered with what appears to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound, officials said. The 29-year-old actor, who died on August 19, currently appears on TNT’s show Rizzoli & Isles. However, when he failed to appear to work, co-workers called Lee’s landlord to check up on him.

Sadly, when the landlord opened the door, Lee’s body was allegedly found, TMZ claims.
After starring in the Disney Channel’s The Famous Jett Jackson, Lee Thompson Young appeared in the 2004 movie Friday Night Lights, ABC’s FlashForward, Scrubs, and films such as Akelah and the Bee and The Hills Have Eyes 2.
