Raz-B Update: B2K Singer Was NOT In A Coma
“De'Mario "Raz-B” Thornton was not in a coma. It is confirmed that he was injured in a nightclub. The comments about Raz being in a coma did not come from his official representative,” Raz’s rep said in a statement.
HollywoodLife.com exclusively spoke to his rep, and she gave us the true story of what really happened:
Raz was at the nightclub, and there was someone smashing bottles on the floor. There was no security. He approached the individual, and he was hit with a bottle. He’s fine. He went to jail, that is true, and then he went to the hospital to get stitches. He didn’t want to press charges, and his hospital bills were taken care of [by the aggressor.] I don’t know if he stayed overnight. I spoke to him today; he is fine.
Raz-B was hit in the face with a bottle while trying to break up a fight at a club in China. He was rushed to a hospital, where he was reported to have underwent minor surgery. The report added that when he didn’t wake up the next day, his backup dancer rushed him to the hospital, as he had fallen into a life-threatening coma. The iconic R&B superstar was then put on life support, according to TMZ.
However, we have since learned that this was not the case, and that he is totally OK.
