Rob is trying really hard to put distance between himself and Kristen. Not only has he moved to Beverly Hills, HollywoodLife.com has learned that he is making a drastic career change so he is not ‘defined’ by Kristen and ‘The Twilight Saga.’
Robert Pattinson has spent the majority of the last five years working with and dating Kristen Stewart, so it is no surprise that he is hoping to redefine himself. HollywoodLife.com can exclusively reveal that Rob is traveling down a whole new career path, because he does not want to be known for dating Kristen. So what is his new endeavor?
Robert Pattinson — Moving On From Kristen Stewart
Rob, 27, is set to become a musician! A source close to actor — and now singer — revealed exclusively to HollywoodLife.com that Rob is putting acting on the back burner in order to focus on music.
“Rob’s number one priority right now is his career, in particular music,” our source revealed. “He’s heavily invested in his music career and it will only be a matter of time that he has a number one hit on his hands. He’s that talented and that passionate about making this happen. Rob is a very humble, deep, thoughtful person and music is his way of expressing his authentic self.”
So what inspired this change of focus? Rob is desperate to be known for more than his relationship with his former co-star, and he wants to be known for something other than playing Edward Cullen.
“It’s very important to him that he not be defined by the Twilight movies, or his relationship with Kristen.”
How interesting! Rob is currently hard at work filming Maps To The Stars, but he has been pictured in recent months playing a guitar. So, where do he and Kristen currently stand?
Robert Moved To Get Away From Kristen
Rob was so in love with Kristen, that following the breakup, he moved to Beverly Hills so he could cold turkey forget about her.
On August 15, HollywoodLife.com revealed exclusively that Rob moved from Los Feliz — Kristen's neighborhood — to Beverly Hills, specifically "to get away from Kristen and her friends," according to a source. The move totally blindsided K-Stew, who was crushed and felt like it "was his way of saying, 'I can't be bothered with you anymore,'" another source told us exclusively.
However, Rob's move has only made things worse for him! "He thought by moving to Beverly Hills and hanging out with his new friends it would take his mind off Kristen, but it has done the complete opposite," a third source revealed.
Perhaps his first hit will be a Taylor Swift style breakup song!
