The royal baby’s portrait has been revealed! Or make that TWO portraits! Two beautiful personal pictures of the new family — including their pups! — were leaked on August 19, and they make up the baby’s official royal portrait. Could they BE any more adorable?
His Royal Highness Prince George‘s first official photos were supposed to be revealed on August 20 but leaked a day early — and in a surprise treat, there were two of them! The adorable family pics feature Kate Middleton and Prince William with their young son, heir to the British throne, in the garden of Kate’s family home. The glowing new family — and even the family’s furry friends — look wonderful in these precious pics!
Prince George’s First Official Portrait Revealed — Two Pictures Of The Little Prince
The family looks completely relaxed in their first official portrait together! The photos look more like a happy family moment than a stuffy regal photo — likely what the couple was going for!
“The photographs were taken by Mr. Michael Middleton in early August in the garden of the Middleton family home in Bucklebury, Berkshire,” reads an official press release from Kensington Palace. Kate’s dad snapped the photos while the royal couple were staying at the Middleton family estate in the first month following their baby’s arrival.
One photo features the couple looking absolutely serene, cradling the tiny baby boy.
The second photo even includes the family’s dogs! The Middletons’ retriever, Tilly, and the couple’s own beloved cocker spaniel, Lupo, are shown with the family! After all, they have been a major presence in Prince George’s first month tucked away at his Bucklebury home!
