The stylish star looked gorgeous in red for Comic-Con 2013! Did you love her look as much as we did?
Nina Dobrev won the hearts of comic book lovers everywhere on July 20 as she attended a Comic-Con press engagement in San Diego. The 24-year-old decided to tweak the original outfit to better fit her style — and we’re so glad she did!
Nina Dobrev’s Comic-Con Dress:
Watch out Ian Somerhalder! He may be one of the sexiest stars on television, but Nina totally stole the spotlight as she debuted her second look for Comic-Con 2013. The actress wore a Matthew Williamson a-line dress that hit right above the knee. The dress, from the Matthew Williamson Pre-Fall 2013 collection, originally made it’s debut in black for the lookbook. Dobrev, however, decided to switch the color, making it more appropriate for the event.
Going red was the perfect choice for Comic-Con, giving The Vampire Diaries actress the perfect mixture of geek-chic and sexy. The black chevron pattern reminds us of comic book typography and was totally fitting for the convention!
She paired the frock with black Rupert Sanderson ‘Junco’ close-toed heels and a beige Jimmy Choo cross-body satchel.
The recently single starlet finished off the look by wearing her brunette locks in loose curls as she sported shades. We’re really impressed with her ability to find an appropriate yet fashionable frock for Comic-Con. She looked extremely pretty and put together. Way to go, Nina!
