He’s so brave! Without a police escort, Prince William dashed to the hospital with Kate, who has gone into labor, shortly before 6 A.M on July 22. He’s now at his wife’s side at St. Mary’s Hospital!
After spending a week with Kate Middleton’s family in Berkshire, Prince William and The Duchess, who has gone into labor, drove to St. Mary’s Hospital from their home in Kensington Palace, reportedly without a police escort, on July 22. The Duke, who is clearly a great husband, is allegedly waiting by his wife’s side as she delivers their baby. (They’re so loving and modern!)
Prince William Drives Kate Middleton To Hospital
Kate went into labor shortly before 6 A.M., and was rushed to the private Lindo Wing of St. Mary’s Hospital, which is the same wing that Princess Diana gave birth to both William and Prince Harry! ”Things are progressing as normal,” a spokesperson for Prince William and Kate recently said.
We’re so glad that Prince William is by Kate’s side because she recently said she's nervous about giving birth, but also said “it would be unnatural if I wasn't. It's just human, isn't it?"
The Duke, who is temporarily off duty from his role as an RAF rescue pilot, will take two weeks of paternity leave after the birth of the royal baby. It’s clear that Kate and their baby are his first priorities.
Kate Middleton In Labor — Official Palace Press Release
Clarence House tweeted the first official statement on July 22, saying:
Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge has been admitted this morning to St. Mary's Hospital, Paddington, London in the early stages of labour. The Duchess traveled by car from Kensington Palace to the Lindo Wing at St. Mary's Hospital with The Duke of Cambridge.
We’re so excited — we can’t wait to hear the announcement that the royal baby is here!
Are you ready for the birth of the royal baby, HollyMoms?
