Kate and William are thrilled to welcome a baby boy into the royal family! His Royal Highness Prince of Cambridge was born weighing eight pounds, six ounces!
While the world has been keeping a major watch on Kate waiting for her to give birth, everyone has also been eagerly awaiting the announcement of the gender, as Kate and William never revealed it — because they didn’t know either!
Now that we know that the baby is a boy, we are so excited to know the future heir to the throne will succeed the line of men that are set to take the throne after Queen Elizabeth.
Official Announcement Posted At Buckingham Palace
Following the tradition set by his own mother, William and his wife, Kate, are officially announcing the arrival of their little baby boy in grand fashion! An easel will be placed at the gates of Buckingham Palace along with a royal declaration signed by the doctors who delivered the baby.
The announcement, which will include the baby’s gender, will be placed on a wood and gold easel that was used to make the official announcement was last used when Princess Diana gave birth to William in 1982.
It will be so fun to watch the adorable little prince grow up with the best royal parents ever!
